At Breaking Waves, we pride ourselves on utilizing our on-site brewery in several of our meals. Our beer fondue is one of our most popular products. We have twenty taps that serve several of our own beers as well as beers from some of the Northwest’s best breweries, in addition to many of our specialty beers. Three different ciders and a Chardonnay wine are available on tap!
We also have a variety of vegan alternatives, including dairy-free and gluten-free buns, and will be expanding our vegan menu this spring. In addition, we have beer battered fish and chips on our menu, as well as Pineapple Fried Rice in a Pineapple Boat, which is cut fresh everyday, and our burgers are 100% angus 8oz patties.
Moving on to the good stuff, we provide Wine & Spirits, as well as a range of beverages like our Jeff Spicoli in deep eddy buckets and our delightful Lavender Vodka, as well as some wonderful Tequilas like 1942 Clasa Azul Reposado. There is also a large selection of wines to pick from.
Finally, we want to make sure that everyone feels welcome and safe, so we have a deck with outdoor seats for everyone, including children and pets. We’re close to a boat launch and a boat dock, as well as a lovely park along the Dyes Inlet. This area is well-known for its Whaling Days.
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Donte realized his passion for cooking while watching his mom and grandmother prepare delicious meals for family gatherings. This passion led to a dramatic career change from retail to culinary arts. After several years as a sales manager, he was off to “Le Cordon Bleu” Culinary Institute of Pennsylvania to start his journey as a professional chef. Seven years of hard work and dedication, led to a rewarding career in some of the elite country clubs and resorts in Phoenix. With a desire to cultivate his culinary skills even more, Donte left the big city so that he can have his own kitchen, and implement his own flavor profile: naturally sourced meals made with pure and simple ingredients with intense flavors. “Sitka was a great resource to expand my knowledge of sustainable practices outside my French cuisine background; Sitka taught me the true sense of community and I want to return the favor by combining my southern culinary skills and locally sourced ingredients to create mouthwatering dishes inspired by Alaska`s bounty.” And now he returns with that experience to share with his new home, of Silverdale, WA.
Please enjoy your meal and we look forward to creating an experience that you will not soon forget.
Thank you for dining with us!
